We are excited to present Join the Fight, an all-new in-game trailer for Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ premiering at San Diego Comic-Con 2011.
The uneasy peace established by the Treaty of Coruscant is broken and both the Galactic Republic and Sith Empire build their armies. As both sides prepare for open war, a new generation of heroes must rise up to meet the challenges of a volatile age, declaring their allegiances and fighting for what they believe in.
Doors Open on The Eternity Vault Operation
In Star Wars: The Old Republic, the highest end-game content available are called operations, akin to raids in other MMOs. Today at E3, Gabe Amatangelo spoke with Gametrailers.com about what those entail. In addition, a new trailer debuted, showcasing the first announced operation – the Eternity Vault.
Some notes from the interview (via Darth Hater and Yufmelt):
- Operations will have the feel of missions found in the Star Wars films.
- They will be open to max level players only (level 50).
- Multiple groups participate in an operation.
- The Eternity Vault is a prison and the end boss is a powerful force user who is being held captive.
- There will be multiple difficulty settings for operations
