Edge Magazine Bioware Interview
My Edge magazine arrived through the door today, and in it is a very interesting interview with James Ohlem, The Old Republic’s game director, about how the game is shaping up. I’ve scanned the pages for your perusal. Enjoy!
Jeff Update: Also take note that the Smuggler class is officially revealed! We will probably hear something about this next week on the official site, but this is as confirmation as you can get.

@ MK someone needs to brush up on your Copyright Laws.
The purpose of copyright law is to stimulate the creation of as many works of art, literature, music, and other “works of authorship” as possible, in order to benefit the public. The United States recognizes no absolute, natural right in an author to prevent others from copying or otherwise exploiting his work. The copyright laws give authors limited property rights in their works, but for the ultimate purpose of benefiting the public by encouraging the creation and dissemination of more works. The author’s interest is secondary to that of the public.
He is not reselling the information and it is not a “work of authorship”. This product is a News Magazine not a Novel, short story, screen play, song, movie script nothing like that. If anything it encouraged more people to by the magazine.

No, the author’s interest is not secondary to that of the public. Without the author’s interest there would be no story for the “public” to quibble over.
It is, however, highly more likely that the magazine simply doesn’t care about these scans.
Thank you to the creator of this article, I am really looking forward to SW:TOR. I’m happy to see an MMO that isn’t afraid to face Blizzard and compete with WoW. When companies compete, we win.
